The Bunny and the colorful eggs

It’s Easter on Sunday, bitches. Easter is here on Sunday and I want to give a shout out to JC. JC is in the hizzy. Not only is Easter the commemoration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, I can eat until I explode. I’m not trying to take away from the resurrection of Christ but I simply like to eat. JC would have wanted it that way. “Easter is the greatest of all the feasts in the Christian year.” Not only that, Easter marks the end of the season of Lent. We can eat meat on Fridays again; I did anyways but now it’s acceptable. Easter is day of rejoicing and celebration for Jesus showing the world that he was our savior and he then walked the Earth for forty days before ascending into Heaven. Good story, right? Easter is a time for fellowship and the reunion of families. Let’s make this Easter special. I did some homework and found out that the Bunny and the colorful eggs we have all grown to love do mean something. The bunny, interesting enough, is the most the fertile animal so it symbolizes abundance. Abundance? Well, the abundance of food, repentance, spiritual enlightenment, and finally the fellowship of family and friends. Wow, that is profound. The eggs symbolize fertility and the Emblem of Life. Fertility is simply the ability to sustain abundance. Simple right? The Emblem of Life is that of Christ and his resurrection. He saved us all from Judgment Day, this time. Lastly, the coloring does symbolize the colorful sunlight of spring. You know all that moisture in the air refracting rays of sunlight giving everything a colorful aura. We can all learn a little from Easter. Give your buddy a hug now. It’s the Emblem of Life, people. Until next time…Happy Easter, everybody. http://catholicism.about.com/cs/easter/a/symbols.htm
