One of my favorite TV Shows, besides Full House, is Gilligan’s Island.  I always enjoyed watching as a kid.  I do realize that I was watching reruns of the show but I liked it so leave me alone.   The reason for my post is to say goodbye to Bob Denver who is better known as Gilligan.  He died today at age 70 after having quadruple bypass surgery.  I’m gonna miss you little buddy.  Maybe Nick at Nite will run a marathon of Gilligan’s Island like they did with Three’s Company when John Ritter died last year. You know it is funny that some higher power is punishing the wicked.  We have seen the recent Hurricane Katrina and its devastation.  People are homeless and missing loved ones.  Most of those peoples’ homes are destroyed and it will take years to rebuilt New Orleans.  Haven’t we seen enough?  Why did they have to take Bob Denver?  Damn you higher power.  Haven’t we been punished enough?  I lay awake at night thinking about the victims of Katrina and the price of gas.  Now the death of Bob Denver, when will it stop?  It’s such a cruel world.
